Why Pro in Progress

So, Here We Are. First Post.

Well fuck it. I wanted the first post to be something cool, polished, maybe even profound.
Instead, you’re getting this.

Honestly, that’s probably more fitting – because this whole site isn’t about looking slick.
It’s about showing the mess.

I’ve always had a knack for figuring things out. Doesn’t matter if it’s a job, a game, or some rabbit hole I fall into – if it grabs my attention, I’ll pull it apart until I see the mechanics.

And once that happens, I go deep.
Not “read a summary” deep.
More like “wake up at 3am with a new hypothesis and test it until my eyes bleed” deep.

Alright, maybe not always. I’m sort of a lazy fucker in general.
But if I get my head around something, I stick to it like a fly to flypaper 😀.

That’s my obsession: not the surface, but the mechanics.
I want to know how things actually work.
What breaks. What holds.
And what’s just a nice story people repeat to feel smart.

There’s a pattern to my life: every time I dive in, I end up obsessed – at least to the degree that I can.
I was that guy in Tribal Wars or Travian who didn’t just play.
I lived it.

Top 10. Top 1.

Alarms at night to send fake attacks.
Massive spreadsheets for troop movements.
Free time spent mapping out attacks in my head.
I remembered every player’s name, weakness, troop position.

Basically, CIA-level intel gathering – but for villages with names like ButtDestroyer69.
People thought it was just a game.

To me, it was war.
And war meant: test → fuck up → test again → repeat.
A fuckton of it.

Crypto is the same story, just with money on the line.
Memecoins, low-cap projects, the degen trenches.
Everyone else chasing quick money, copying what everyone else does.
I’m there testing theories, running numbers, laughing at the chaos.
And yes – losing money sometimes.
But that’s how you see patterns nobody else does.

And that’s the point.
Progress isn’t clean.
It isn’t balanced.
And it sure as hell isn’t glamorous.
It’s less like a motivational poster and more like being a peasant in the 1200s.
Same field. Same mud. Same back pain.
Just hoping this year the harvest doesn’t suck.
It’s messy. Repetitive. Sometimes even embarrassing.
But it’s also where the real discoveries live.

And when you do enough of it – when you start seeing patterns and know how to do shit – people notice.
Over the years I’ve had dozens of people – colleagues, friends, even people I barely know – come to me asking for help:
“How do you set this up? What’s the strategy? What’s the shortcut?”
And I like that.
It’s a good feeling when people trust you enough to ask.
I like being the guy who knows how things work – whether it’s games, crypto, health, mindset, or some weird shit.

But explaining the same thing twenty times?
That’s where my pragmatism kicks in.
I’m lazy in the tactical way: why waste energy repeating myself?
Wouldn’t it be easier to just write it once, put it online, and send people a link?
Saves me time. Saves them time.
Saves my wife from rolling her eyes into the next dimension :D.
Everybody wins.

That’s the lazy reason.
But there’s another one too.
This is also a way to dump all the shit in my head into writing.
They say journaling is good.
Most gurus say keep a leather notebook.
I say: put it online so strangers can roast you in the comments.
Builds character.

If it helps someone else – great.
If not, it still helps me.
Because writing forces me to think clearer, test deeper, and learn faster.
And maybe it’ll even motivate me more :D.
If I write something here and say I’ll do it, someone might actually remember.
They might even call me out if I don’t.
Motivation is fragile.
Shame? Eternal.

So what will you find here?
A mix of everything, I guess.
(And yeah, writing this, I realise I use “I guess” a lot 😀).
History. Games. Crypto trenches.
Mindset experiments. Health rabbit holes. AI.
The occasional rant about politics or hidden truths.
Basically whatever I’m neck-deep in at the moment.
I’ll try to cover it from different angles:
• Monologues. Me venting, reflecting, pretending I’m enlightened as foock.

• How-tos. Not shallow “5 tips” crap. I mean balls-deep how-tos.

Most people will skip them.
But for weirdos like me who want the whole picture – they’re gold.
Detailed. Practical. Tested.
Not theory. Not “I think this works.”
More like: “I tried it. I broke it. I fixed it. And here’s the exact button you click.”
So detailed even the Illuminati would bookmark them.

If that’s too much for most people – fine.
At least I’ll have something to show my grandkids,
so they understand why grandpa was this crazy hehe.

So this site is partly for me – to keep track, to stay accountable, to map the chaos.
And it’s partly for everyone else who keeps asking, “How do I do this?”

Welcome to ProInProgress.
Not finished.
Not perfect.
Just in motion.
Like me. Like you.
Like anyone stubborn enough to keep testing until the patterns finally show.

I’m nowhere near being “pro” at the moment.
But I know I have the potential.
With the right approach – and enough testing – I should and will be.
And you get to witness it.
Maybe even pick up some of the good and bad things along the way :D.
No idea how this will look a year from now.
The posts might be 360% different.
But that’s the fun of it.

RIIIGHT. That’s enough for Post One.
I’ll save the rest for later.
Maybe I’ll explain how I chose the name,
or what platform, fonts, and templates I picked.
I’ve got 10+ years of messing around with websites,
so I know a thing or two 😀.
But for now, this will do.
